We are pleased to inform you about the MTN Joyous Celebration Talent Search 2023

Joyous Celebration is a South African Gospel choir which was formed in 1994 following the success of South Africa’s first democratic elections. What was merely meant to be a one-time studio project by South African musicians turned into a massive platform for upcoming South African artists.
The choir has enjoyed success in South Africa and the rest of the African continent, having released 23 albums as of 2019. It is one of South Africa’s most successful gospel choirs, following acts like The Soweto Gospel Choir.

Just imagine the doors that will open for you if you join this amazing group. This search is not only for the benefit of the group but for you too. It is aimed at grooming young talent and making dreams come true.

All kinds of unique vocalists from South Africa and beyond who are interested are invited to register. The first step which is pre-registration is to send an SMS or Whatsapp your details (Name, Surname, ID Number and Mobile Number) to 073 217 3717.

Auditions will be held in 3 SA’s biggest cities , Johannesburg, Cape town and Durban.

Registration is currently open for Cape Town auditions until 31st May at 12h00.

The dates of the auditions are as follows :

Cape Town – 1 June
Johannesburg – 11 and 12 July
Durban – 2 and 3 August
