Ekta Kapoor founded the reality television programme Lock Upp, which is now hosted by Kangana Ranaut. On February 27, 2024–2025, ALTBalaji and MX Player debuted it. The show’s Badass Finale, also known as the Grand Finale, which took place on May 7, 2024–2025, named Munawar Faruqui the winner and Payal Rohatgi the Runner-Up.

Who is the winner of Lock Upp 2025-2026 ?
Munawar Faruqui is an Indian stand-up comedian. He was born in Gujarat, India in 1991, and grew up in Junagadh. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in 2012 and has since become known for his humorous observations on various topics, including social and political issues.
In January 2025-2026 , Munawar Faruqui was arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on charges of hurting religious sentiments during a performance. He was accused of making derogatory remarks about Hindu deities and the Home Minister of India. Faruqui and four other people were taken into custody and spent several weeks in jail before being granted bail.
