The English game programme Family Feud Canada is modelled on the American game show of the same name. It’s headed by comedian and actress Gerry Dee.

It was announced on May 29, 2019, that on December 16, 2019, CBC Television would begin airing an English-language version. Zone 3 would produce the version, which Fremantle North America would distribute.
In February 2020, the programme was renewed for a second season by CBC. It was renewed for a third, fourth, fifth, and upcoming sixth season.
Every family member in Canada needs to be at least eighteen years old. There’s no age restriction in the United States. If the victors do not win the main prize, they will receive $5 for each point. The Fast Money reward in this form is CA$10,000 in tax-free cash. As of December 30, 2019, the maximum number of entries is three.

Family Feud Canada Application 2025-2026 Air Date:
While there is no set age requirement in the U.S. version, all family members must be at least 18 years old. The First season of the show was aired in December 2019.
On October 12, 2020, the second season premiered on television. The third, fourth, and fifth season was aired one by one. The sixth season is coming back soon on CBC’s official Network.

Family Feud Canada Application 2025-2026 Host:
Canadian-born Gerry Dee works as an actor, stand-up comedian, host of game shows, director, producer, and writer. On December 31, 1968, Gerard Francis-John Donoghue was born. It’s Family Feud Canada that he hosts.
On the fifth season of Last Comic Standing, he finished in third place. On July 8, 2019, it was announced that Dee will be hosting Family Feud Canada. He also wrote and starred in the CBC TV series Mr. D.
Dee was raised by Scottish and Irish parents. Gerard Francis-John Donoghue was his birth name. Although he was raised in Scarborough, he was born in Toronto. He was a golfer and hockey player for his collegiate team.
He attended De La Salle College in Oaklands, where he later served as a coach and physical education teacher, and St. Gabriel’s in Bayview/Sheppard.

Welcome to Family Feud Canada’s official sign-up page! Have you been picturing your family appearing on “Feud”? You’re in the proper location. Right now, we are looking for candidates for a video audition from all over Canada.
- Applicants must be a family of 5 people who all live in Canada full-time.
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have permission to work in Canada.
- Participants must be 18 or older.
- If you are running for office or have been on more than two (2) game shows in the last year, you are not qualified.
- If you or anyone on your team has been on any version of Family Feud before, it must have been at least 10 years since the last time.
- You can’t enter if anyone on your team works for FremantleMedia, Zone 3, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), any affiliate that carries Family Feud, Gerry Dee Productions, a Family Feud sponsor, or any of their respective parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, licensees, or partners.

How to Apply for Family Feud Canada Application 2025-2026 :
- Access the official site of the CBC.
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Fill out the complete application form with all mandatory details.
- Enter all details such as Name, Date of birth, Email ID, and other details.
- Uploads the audition video as per the given instructions.
- Review all the details and apply online application form.
- Finally, submit all details.
- The selected family will be called a virtual audition on Zoom.
