The ideas put forth by the competitors, who hail from all around the world, are intriguing. Some others, like Jordan, who serves rabbit loin on a “three things” plate, appear to understand the five-star dining idea.
Some, like Lara, focus more on the performance side of things; to surprise the judges, she even hires an actor to play the White Rabbit. While one Texas chef seeks to serve a more sophisticated version of Tex-Mex, another champions Congolese food.
