- Han Sung-Soo established Pledis Entertainment, a South Korean entertainment firm, in 2007. K-pop groups Seventeen and Fromis 9, as well as actresses Nana, Hwang Min-hyun, and Baekho, are signed to the label. - To find future K-pop stars, Pledis Entertainment is holding an audition anywhere in the world. Anybody born in 2005 or after is eligible to apply for the “2024 Pledis Audition Global Wonder Teens,” regardless of gender or nationality.
- There will be four categories for the audition: dance, rap, singing, and “confidence.” Anyone “who can showcase their talent and ability” is eligible to enter the confidence category, according to the agency.
